Micro Prilled Urea 46-0-0 Fertilizer – 50 Lbs is a small diameter, spherical white solid that is an organic amide molecule containing 46% nitrogen in the form of amine groups.
UREA is infinitely soluble in water and is suitable for use as an agricultural and forestry fertilizer as well as for industrial applications which require a high quality nitrogen source.
It is not a poison to mammals and birds and is a benign and safe chemical to handle.
Prilled Urea is a nitrogen fertilizer manufactured by the reaction of ammonia and carbon dioxide. Fertilizer grade urea is a white, free flowing prilled (spherical) solid with a small amount of organic material as a conditioner or anti-caking agent. Concentrations of low biuret Prilled Urea are less than 0.5%.

APPLICATION RATE:
Soil:Â 2 – 3 Pounds per 1,000 sq.ft.
Note:Â As a general (albeit not scientific) rule of thumb, the formula for determining the application rate for nitrogen, divide 100 by the percentage of nitrogen in the compound and apply the result to 1,000 sq.ft. For Urea, which contains 46% nitrogen, the formula would be 100/46 = 2.17 lbs. per 1000 sq.ft.
Hydroponics:Â Mix 1 – 2 tablespoons per gallon of water.
