Caliente WDG Herbicide Fast Weed Killer – 2 oz is an innovative and highly effective broadleaf and grassy weed post-emergent herbicide.

Caliente provides excellent turfgrass safety and contains the power of Octane herbicide technology, resulting in faster kill of a wide range of broadleaf weeds. The fast action and broad-spectrum activity of Caliente will provide higher customer satisfaction and reduced customer callbacks.

Caliente contains two active ingredients: metsulfuron-methyl and pyraflufen-ethyl.  Metsulfuron-methyl is a systemic herbicide that blocks the production of essential amino acids in plants.  Pyraflufen-ethyl is a contact herbicide that inhibits the enzyme protoporphyrinogen oxidase, which is involved in the production of chlorophyll.  The dual mode of action of Caliente provides a quick burn down of susceptible weeds in as little as 24 to 48 hours, combined with systemic activity to provide long-term control of targeted weeds.

Caliente WDG can be used over bermudagrass, St. Augustine, zoysiagrass, centipedegrass, kentucky bluegrass and fine fescue only.

Rate

0.25 oz ~ 1 oz per acre. (This 2 oz bottle covers up to 8 acres.)

For Backpack sprayer, mix 0.005 oz ~ 0.05 oz by using included scoop per gallon of water.
