Compact PGR Cotton Plant Growth Regulator – 2.5 Gallon is a water based foliar applied pgr that helps manage your cotton crop by regulating plant growth for more efficient production and improved yields.
Compact PGR contains mepiquat chloride as the active ingredient to shorten the cotton production season, reducing yield and quality risks that accompany an extended harvest. Because Compact directs more food and energy toward fruit development, rather than vegetative growth, fiber quality is improved and yield potential is increased.
Compact Herbicide regulates plant growth by altering gibberellic acid (GA) metabolism, making less of the GA plant hormone available to the plant. This leads to reduced leaf area and plant height. When applied to the top of the plant, Compact herbicide moves quickly within the plant to young leaves, branches and internodes for effective control of new growth.
